I received my Personal Work Permit in the post yesterday. The application was VERY easy. All you need to do is fill in the application form, stick on a passport photo, include a copy of your APRC and the photo page of your passport and pop all of this (oh, and NT$100) in an envelope and post it to the Council of Labor Affairs. Seven to ten days later, you'll receive your Personal Work Permit in the post and you're good to go! This work permit isn't a letter, like your previous company owned ones. This one is in the form of a card.
